Kathy Buhrer, who has 2 two fillies by Loafer's Lodge Spring Ahead, sent us this kind note: 

"one is a 2 yr old that was pony foal champion of Va in 2007, the other is a 6 yr old, Petunia Mae, that is currently doing the medium green division.  She is 14^th in the USEF standings with 8 shows recorded (compare to the number of shows the others have done!)  She is 2^nd in Va and 2^nd in the zone.  She is the best pony, she was also zone 3 pony breeding champion –I am so proud of her for doing well in hand and then doing well in performance!  She is out of my favorite TB mare that did the green conf. hunter division before retiring due to an injury.  Petunia Mae not only shows but she plays “broomstick polo”, trail rides, dresses for Halloween and does obstacle courses with the kids!  She was champion green pony at both Lexington Spring shows as well as grand champion  at the second Lexington show – both double A shows!  She is more than qualified for pony finals but we have chosen to not go because of the distance, cost etc – she can do several shows in Va for the same expenditure of money. The 2 yr old will get ridden this fall, hopefully she will be as nice. Just wanted to let you know how proud I am of Spring Ahead’s kids"
